After 8 years with us,  Director Amber Hughey is leaving the Bridgeport Public Library. In her time with us, she has added new collections such as our board games and early learner kits. She has improved the library with renovations such as the new book bins in the children's department, a new digital sign, and picnic tables.

She has loved doing collection development, and seeing what new books and materials the patrons have wanted. One of her favorite experiences is seeing the smiles on the patrons when they pick up a new book they've been wanting to read!

Her last day with us will be Friday, September 11th.
